There are 3 playing levels, please select one. The numbers refer to your DUPR rating if you have one. DUPR is not mandatory.  
Individual Agreement, Release, and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in The Inaugural Pickleball Tournament of the Weston Pickleball Club and related events and activities;

(1) | ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND, DECLARE AND AGREE THAT:

a           To the best of my knowledge, I am in Good Physical Condition and have no disease or injury that would be aggravated by participating in activities related to the Tournament.

b           Participating in the Tournament may involve RISK OF INJURY TO ME, INCLUDING DEATH, LOSS, OR DAMAGE TO ME OR MY PROPERTY, or other consequences, which might result not only from my own actions, inaction, or negligence but also from the actions, inaction, or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the conditions of the premises or any equipment used;

c            There may be OTHER RISKS not known or not reasonably foreseeable; and Understanding All of the above.

(2) I ASSUME ALL OF THE ABOVE RISKS AND RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFY AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE:

a           Weston Pickleball Club or any of its agencies, residents, employees or volunteers, coaches, trainers, and officials affiliated with the organizations or any other individuals affiliated with the Tournament;

b           any affiliated subsidiary, successor, organization, or related companies or businesses, other participants, participating or sponsoring agencies, organizations, agencies, sponsors, or advertisers, the respective administrators, officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees, or volunteers of such entities or organizations:

c            Employees of premises used to conduct the Tournament FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, OR ANY OTHER CONSEQUENCE in connection with entry in or arising out of participation in, performance in or lack of performance in, including travel to and from the games.

(3) I FURTHER AGREE THAT: b) I will ALLOW my PHOTOGRAPH, PICTURE or LIKENESS and/or VOICE to APPEAR in any official documentary, promotional (including all advertisements), television, radio, or film coverage of the Tournament, WITHOUT COMPENSATION.

(c) I have read and agree to The Weston Pickleball Club Inaugural  Tournament at Weston Regional Park will not refund any registration money after the registration cut-off, 10 days before the event.

(4) I CONSENT TO ALL EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT as may be deemed appropriate under existing circumstances by medical personnel or personnel associated with the games.

(5) General Rules and Conditions:

  1. This is a Friendly Tournament, self-coached by the players. Any disagreement will be solved in the court with the help of the Court Coaches and any final decision will be made by the Master Court Coach  

  2. The date of the Tournament is September 23rd, 2023 from 7 am to 7 pm. We will provide a schedule of arrival by email or text with the time estimated time of your first game. If you are not sure or did not get contacted, you must come at 7 am.

  3. Every player should wear protective eyewear, be properly hydrated, and warm up before every game.

  4. The Location of the Event is at the Weston Regional Park Rink #7, we will use four courts for this event.

  5. Age is not a factor of qualification in this tournament, you may be playing against younger or older teams, and/or you can play with an older or younger team member. 

  6. You will play in Women’s Doubles or Men’s Doubles matches only. We won’t have Singles or Mixed Doubles Categories in this Tournament

  7. You are only allowed to participate in one playing level group only.

  8. If you don’t have a team partner, we may assign you one on the court before your first game

  9. You will not be able to change partners after you start playing

  10. If you or your team partner can not continue playing due to any circumstance including personal emergencies or injuries, both team members will be disqualified.

  11. We will only allow USAPA-approved paddles to be used in this Tournament.

  12. Every game is up to 11 points winning by 2 points. Each game duration will be up to 15 minutes, the team that is winning at this moment, wins. Each team will play at least 3 games in the process of classification. and elimination.

  14. Weston Pickleball Club reserves the right to amend the content of the agreement, to improve the quality of its service.

  15. Participants can be 16 years of age or older. Any participant under the age of 18 must:  Fill out a parental consent form that will be sent to them after registering for the tournament. Arrive to the tournament with their parent and legal guardian. Adults must check-in their child at the Registration table. The Weston Pickleball Club  Organization does not hold itself responsible for any children under the age of 18.

  16. The registration Fee for this event is $40 to be paid electronically
